Item #12

101 goodbye 012
I found these as I cleaned out our bathroom cupboards the other day. I haven't used them in close to two years...but I didn't know what to do with them. My cousin came over with her new baby, so I sent them home with her.

101 goodbye 003-011
Alex's dad very rarely buys himself new books. He's awesome at thrift store shopping - some of our gifts at birthdays and Christmas are brand spanking new awesome stuff that he picked up for a fraction of the new cost at a thrift store. And he gets his books there. And often passes them along to us with the expectation that he will not get them back when we're done. I had a huge stack...so we went through them and kept four or five that one or both of us want to read and I got rid of the rest on my way home on Friday. They went in one of those book bins you see at the side of the road or in parking lots. I think maybe for BC Cancer?

Item #2

Alex took this bag to the Salvation Army this weekend...I'm counting it as one item because I didn't want to pull everything out and count it. It drove around with us in the car for a few weeks before it actually made it to the Salvation Army. We could probably fill another bag with toys already...J has so many and she doesn't play with most of them...

Item #1

101 goodbye 001Yes, I do know what scary thing it looks like.

But it's really a dish scrubber. And I hate it. It's ugly, it doesn't work well, it's phallic, it's top heavy and forever falling over.

Best of all?

It's gone.
